Client: Wipro
Wipro, a stalwart in the corporate landscape, entrusted me with a pivotal task: designing the cover and layout for their comprehensive report on the transformation of public education in India. The weight of this responsibility was underscored by the report’s significance in shaping educational discourse and policy.
For the cover, I embarked on a deliberate artistic journey. Drawing inspiration from the heart of rural India, I illustrated an Indian public school—a familiar sight in villages across the nation. The single-story buildings, nestled amidst open spaces, symbolized the grassroots foundation of learning. Within this scene, I strategically placed depictions of students, parents, and teachers—each engaged in the dynamic process of education. Their movements echoed the vitality of knowledge dissemination within these hallowed walls.
Inside the report, the layout is intentionally uncluttered, adhering to simplicity. The absence of photographs or distracting illustrations aligns with the client’s directive: let the data speak, unencumbered by visual noise.
In this endeavor, I strived to honor Wipro’s commitment to education, weaving together artistry and information to illuminate the path toward a brighter future for India’s learners.
